Simon Winter Marine attended the bustling Honiton Agricultural Show which took place on 23rd August 2013. The one day event prides itself on being a ‘truly traditional agricultural show’ and included over 400 trade stands, including an exhibition marquee for members of the Federation of Small Businesses. We attended the show as part of the South West FSB giving our support to small businesses, on a local and national level.
The Honiton Agricultural Show which celebrated its 123rd year, was lucky enough to take place during the scorching heat wave nearing the end of the summer, this made for an interesting and extremely hot day for the Simon Winter Marine team! Local MP Neil Parish was also in attendance and visited the FSB marquee, meeting all exhibiting members and engaging in light-hearted conversation and paying particular interest into their individual businesses.
The event provided Simon Winter Marine the opportunity to meet visitors from far and wide, speak to them regarding their marine insurance needs, along with providing interesting sailing related display material to be enjoyed. An exclusive promotion was offered, a complimentary Simon Winter Marine sailing cap for every policy taken-out following a quote from The Honiton Show.
